Patrick Mahomes’ fiancee Brittany Matthews offered her own response to a report that she had been banned from Kansas City Chiefs games.

Former NFL offensive lineman Rich Ohrnberger claimed that Mahomes had banned both Matthews and his brother Jackson from Chiefs games because they were bad for his brand. Ohrnberger later deleted the tweet, and Mahomes openly laughed off the claim on social media.

Shortly after that, Matthews had her own response. She initially echoed Mahomes’ response, then questioned how it had become “cool” for critics to take shots at her.

Matthews has been criticized by some for overly enthusiastic celebrations when Mahomes and the Chiefs do well. Ultimately, there’s nothing terribly damaging about that.

Mahomes more than likely isn’t banning her from games over it, and Matthews has every right to scoff at and laugh off a claim like that.
