Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes Nathan Ray Seebeck-USA TODAY Sports

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes' status on the injury report changed to start Week 11. The Chiefs released their first injury report for Week 11 on Thursday afternoon as they held their first practice ahead of their "Monday Night Football" game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Mahomes had been on the Chiefs injury report since the Sunday morning before the game against the Denver Broncos in Week 8. He was placed on the injury report for the flu.

Then, Mahomes’ name popped up on the Week 9 injury report for a left-hand injury due to a cut he received against the Broncos. He finished that game with a glove on his left hand. Even though Mahomes was on the injury report in Week 9, he was a full participant all three days at practice and was able to play in the Chiefs’ win over the Miami Dolphins.

Mahomes was able to use the bye last week to heal his left hand completely. According to the Chiefs injury report released Thursday, Mahomes is no longer on the injury report. In fact, the Chiefs had more good news, as everyone on the injury report was a full participant at practice.

That’s excellent news for the Chiefs, as they’ll play a rematch of Super Bowl LVII. The Chiefs will need everyone, especially Mahomes, to be at 100 percent when they play the Eagles.
