Patrick Mahomes: Super Bowl loss will motivate Chiefs to be better
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes had the worst game of his career during Super Bowl LV against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.
The former MVP finished the 31-9 loss with 270 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions coupled with a 52.3 quarterback rating.
Mahomes wasn't the only problem for the Chiefs on Sunday. However, he admitted after the game that the loss will inspire the team to be better in 2021, according to team reporter Matt McMullen.
In just three years as Kansas City's starter, Mahomes has been to two Super Bowls. Even if he feels down right now, the 25-year-old will surely appear in many more championships before his career ends.
