Patrick Peterson spent most of his career in the NFC with All-Pro stints in Arizona and Minnesota. In the limelight of his career last season he decided to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers

Peterson's production wasn't great in 2023 and his playing days may be coming to an end. On Friday morning, Peterson joined the Good Morning Football show and was asked to pick what team excited him most in 2024.

Out of all 32 teams, Peterson gravitated towards the Orange and Brown hat and selected the Cleveland Browns as his team to look out for in 2024.

"I like what (Kevin) and the coaching staff have done in Cleveland having the number one defense last year... You get Deshaun Watson back, you have weapons outside now that's able to help Amari Cooper, you have tight ends that can get open. I am really really 'giddy' to see how this team is going to finish the season versus how they finished last season."

Peterson saw this team firsthand last year in two of the most bizarre games of the season. First, in Week 2, the Steelers started the game with a pick-six on the very first play of the game, which then led to the most gruesome injury of Cleveland's season as Nick Chubb's knee was destroyed. The Browns tried to rally late for a win but it wasn't meant to be that night.

Then in Week 11, the Browns were coming off of Deshaun Watson suffering a season-ending and turned to Dorian Thompson-Robinson for the second start of his career.

While Peterson only saw this team at full strength for about a quarter, he knows that they have the potential to be a championship caliber team when healthy. With the addition of Jerry Jeudy and the established depth on defense, Cleveland has a roster that is ready to go right now.

The question is at quarterback. If they can get solid quarterback play, Cleveland will be a very tough team to beat.
