Patriots HC Bill Belichick on game plan for Week 16 rematch vs. Bills: 'We can use our whole passing game'

The New England Patriots attempted just three passes on offense during their 14-10 Week 13 "Monday Night Football" win against the Buffalo Bills. The wild pregame forecast for wind and snow lived up to the hype and led to one of the most bizarre NFL contests in recent memory.

Now atop the AFC standings with a 9-4 record and having won seven games in a row, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick feels good about where his team is at and apparently was in the mood for a rare joke on Tuesday morning during an interview about the game.

According to NFL.com's Kevin Patra, in the win, the Patriots became the first team to win a contest with fewer than three completions since the Denver Broncos defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 17-10 in 2011. In that bout, Denver's Tim Tebow went 2-for-8 for 69 yards.

New England also became the first team to win a game with less than 20 passing yards since the Carolina Panthers did it over the Atlanta Falcons in 2006 with 11 passing yards.

Following the narrow victory, Belichick shifted slightly from his normally serious nature. When asked about he was feeling following the quick turnaround after "MNF", the coach said: "A little run down, but good".

New England has a bye in Week 14 and will face the Indianapolis Colts at 8:20 p.m. on Dec. 18 in Week 15.
