Everyone waited with bated breath last week to see if Malik Cunningham would enter the game.

But despite the offensive struggles, Cunningham remained sidelined for the entire game.

However, it seems he may get another chance in the New England Patriots' Thursday night clash against the Pittsburgh Steelers. And it was Cunningham who dropped the major hint.

The popular rookie posted a photo on Instagram, showing he traveled with the team to Pittsburgh.

It was reported last week that the team had a set of plays they were working on with him during the week, but he didn't get the chance to show it during the game.

This week, he confirmed to A to Z Sports that he took some snaps at quarterback during practice despite the short week.

It appears that Bailey Zappe will once again start, with Mac Jones benched prior to the game for the second straight week. Because of that, Cunningham could serve as the backup quarterback once again.

And maybe this time he will get a chance to get on the field.

The Patriots have until 4 p.m. ET to make any elevations, so let's see if Cunningham is among them.
