Patriots owner Robert Kraft makes it clear he's 'rooting for Tom Brady' in Super Bowl

Tom Brady is about to play in his 10th Super Bowl but it will be the quarterback's first time as a member of a team other than the New England Patriots. But Pats owner Robert Kraft says that he will still be rooting for his old quarterback even though he's moved on to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

"I’m rooting for Tom Brady," Kraft told "CBS Sunday Morning." "I’m so excited. We’ve had some great communications and he is such a special human being. We were privileged to have him here for two decades, and he’s one of the finest human beings I’ve ever met. He knows how to lead, and I wish him well. I really hope he wins Sunday."

Despite the parting of ways after two decades together, there does not seem to be any hard feelings between Brady and the Patriots. Kraft previously admitted that Brady heading to another team was not how he wanted the partnership to end but said that he loved Brady "like a son" and respected his right "to do what is in his best personal interest."

The 43-year-old has also spoken highly of his time with the team and even praised Bill Belichick earlier this week, telling reporters that he still had a "great relationship" with his long-time head coach. To be fair, not having any hard feelings or bitterness is probably fairly easy when everyone involved has six Super Bowls, even with the Patriots having their first losing season this century and missing the playoffs for the first time in over a decade.
