Patriots WR N'Keal Harry in shoulder sling after landing hard against Eagles

New England Patriots wide receiver N'Keal Harry was seen in a shoulder sling after Thursday's 35-0 preseason victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, according to Josh Tolentino of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Harry attempted to catch a deep throw up the left sideline from rookie quarterback Mac Jones and landed hard on his left side after not catching the pass. He remained down on the field before leaving with trainers just before halftime.

The 23-year-old requested a trade out of New England before the start of training camp. However, he and head coach Bill Belichick have said that they've since worked it out, and Harry indicated staying with the Patriots would be fine with him.

In his second season with the Pats in 2020, Harry caught 33 passes for 309 yards and two touchdowns. According to Tom E. Curran of NBC Sports Boston, the young wide receiver has impressed this summer and "continues to be the story of training camp right behind the quarterback sweepstakes."
