The New England Patriots legend Tom Brady and the Indianapolis Colts icon Peyton Manning shared one of the most exciting rivalries in the history of sports. They are both retired from the sport and are exploring new career opportunities post-retirement.

Amidst this, Peyton Manning disclosed that Brady reached out to him for advice before starting his broadcasting career with Fox Network. In a recent interview with The Athletic, Manning shared the story. Manning said he was not the right person to advise Brady.

He’s reached out to me for advice. I said, ‘Tom, I watch football from my neighbor’s garage on Monday nights. I’m not sure I’m worthy of being called for advice for what you’re about to do. Peyton Manning said

Peyton Manning might be really underselling his broadcasting career. Peyton has been very impressive in ESPN’s Manningcast along with his brother Eli Manning. His show has plenty of fans and he certainly knows how to rope in the viewers.

As for Brady, he signed a massive $375 million deal with Fox Network even before he announced his retirement from the sport. Later, after announcing his retirement, Brady claimed he would start his sportscasting career in the fall of 2024. Now, he is preparing to make his broadcasting debut during the 2024 NFL regular season.

Brady dominated the football for the last 23 years and now it’s time for him to show his talents on the commentary booth. Many expect Brady would be a massive hit in broadcasting due to his football knowledge. However, some believe Brady couldn’t entertain the people in the booth and would not last long with Fox Network.

Peyton Manning is trying to recruit Tom Brady’s old HC Bill Belichick to Omaha Productions

The former Indianapolis Colts QB Peyton Manning might’ve shown the cold shoulder to Tom Brady when the latter approached him for broadcasting advice. But, he is trying to recruit Brady’s old head coach Bill Belichick, who is currently out of the league after parting ways with the New England Patriots.

If it comes to fruition, I think fans will be excited to see how incredibly brilliant Bill Belichick is when talking about football and how witty and funny he is. Peyton Manning told The Athletic

Belichick is currently not with any team and could end up doing television gigs during the 2024 NFL season. If he decides to accept television jobs, he could join forces with the Manning brothers in Omaha Productions.
