The Philadelphia Eagles had a rocky start to their NFC Wild Card Game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but at the two-minute warning in the first half, they are down 16-9. The team is already without top wide receiver AJ Brown but they may be without another wide receiver in Julio Jones.

During the second quarter, Julio Jones made a 14-yard reception before needing assistance from the opposite sideline. It is being reported that he is being evaluated for a concussion, putting his status up in the air for the remainder of the game.

The Philadelphia Eagles are going to need him to be a force opposite DeVonta Smith as they get the ball to begin the second half. Jones has not done too well in limited action for the Eagles this season as he has recorded 11 catches on 19 targets for 74 yards (6.7 yards per reception) with three touchdowns.

UPDATE: Jones has been ruled OUT for the remainder of the game.

Can the Philadelphia Eagles win this game and advance to the divisional round?

The Philadelphia Eagles have a lot of talent but the defense is doing a good job of forcing field goals instead of touchdowns. Jalen Hurts had a big play on the same drive that Jones got injured to get into a goal-to-go situation.

The Eagles have been doing pretty well after a terrible start and they need to continue this performance if they want to pull off the road victory. Getting Jones back to help the offense would help but they should be able to move the ball pretty well against the Buccaneers defense.
