During this year's Raiders training camp, The Raiders have continued to work out with their very talented wide receivers.

The Raiders have four new wide receivers added to their roster from NFL Free Agency and the 2023 NFL Draft.

One of the new wide receivers is veteran Phillip Dorsett, who signed with the Raiders during this year's NFL Free Agency. The Raiders signed him back on March 16th, 2023.

Phillip Dorsett has some familiarity with the new starting quarterback for the Silver and Black, Jimmy Garoppolo. The two spent time together with the New England Patriots, also playing under head coach Josh McDaniels who was the Patriots offense coordinator for many seasons.

Phillip Dorsett had the chance to share with the media the chemistry with Jimmy Garoppolo on the Patriots compared to what the chemistry is like now on the Raiders.

"I would say it's been the last few months because when I got there, he was still the backup, and he was doing more on the scout team and stuff like that. And I got a chance to go with him a little bit, but he got traded that same year, so I didn't really get a chance to really build a rapport with him. But this offseason, I got a chance to be here with him while he was rehabbing, and spot throws with him, and then eventually it got to me running routes for him. It's definitely been great; I'm looking forward to continuing to keep going because we've got a long way to go. But we're going to keep grinding."

Phillip Dorsett is now entering his eighth season as a veteran wide receiver in the NFL. He has played 92 games, with 152 career receptions, 2,001 career receiving yards, and 12 total career touchdowns.

With only a few more weeks left of Raiders training camp, Phillip Dorsett and Jimmy Garoppolo's chemistry will surely be worth watching.

The Silver and Black open the preseason by hosting the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Aug. 13, at 4 p.m. EDT/1 p.m. PDT.
