The NFL Draft is behind us, so let's make our first attempt to project the 49ers' 53-man roster for the 2024 season.

Brock Purdy, Joshua Dobbs and Brandon Allen.

Undrafted free agent rookie Tanner Mordecai will push Allen for a spot on the 53, but ultimately will land on the practice squad.

Christian McCaffrey, Elijah Mitchell, Jordan Mason, Isaac Guerendo and Kyle Juszczyk.

Guerendo could carve out a niche as the primary kickoff returner. He'll have to beat out undrafted free agent rookie Cody Schrader, who was a more productive rusher than him in college.

Brandon Aiyuk, Deebo Samuel, Jauan Jennings, Ricky Pearsall, Jacob Cowing and Ronnie Bell.

Danny Gray will get cut. He has just one catch in two seasons with the 49ers. He's one of their worst draft picks ever.

George Kittle, Eric Saubert and Brayden Willis.

Cameron Latu will get cut. He will finish his 49ers career with zero catches. He also is one of their worst draft picks ever.

Trent Williams, Aaron Banks, Jake Brendel, Jon Feliciano, Colton McKivitz, Jaylon Moore, Spencer Burford, Dominick Puni and Jarrett Kingston.

The 49ers will carry only three tackles, as Moore will be the backup for both Williams and McKivitz. And Nick Zakelj finally will get cut. He was Brock Purdy's roommate for two years, but Purdy is married now, so the 49ers don't need Zakelj anymore.

Nick Bosa, Javon Hargrave, Maliek Collins, Leonard Floyd, Yetur Gross-Matos, Jordan Elliott, Kevin Givens, Drake Jackson and Robert Beal Jr.

The 49ers carry just four defensive tackles, but they'll sign Kalia Davis to the practice squad.

Fred Warner, De'Vondre Campbell, Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles, Dee Winters, Jalen Graham and Ezekiel Turner.

Dre Greenlaw most likely will start the season on the PUP List. Flannigan-Fowles will make the team because he has more than $1 million in guaranteed money on his contract this season. Turner will make the team as a special teams ace. And rookie seventh-round pick Tatum Bethune will go to the practice squad.

Charvarius Ward, Deommodore Lenoir, Isaac Yiadom, Renardo Green and Ambry Thomas.

Samuel Womack and Rock Ya-Sin both will get cut. Womack is a former fifth-round pick who never established himself with the 49ers, and Ya-Sin is a former second-round pick who has a bad knee.

Talanoa Hufanga, Ji'Ayir Brown, Malik Mustapha and George Odum.

Mustapha should immediately leap ahead of Odum on the depth chart, because Odum is more of a special teams player than a safety.

Jake Moody, Mitch Wishnowsky and Taybor Pepper.

Yes, Moody will make the team, even though he really shouldn't. The 49ers need another kicker.
