The Los Angeles Chargers have their man in Jim Harbaugh, who will now attempt to lead the organization back to AFC dominance. The excitement surrounding his hire has been palpable, and Harbaugh has already been reaching out to players.

Charger Report got an exclusive interview with rookie wide receiver Quentin Johnston, who talked about his excitement that Harbaugh is now leading the team.

"Very excited for that, given his history," Johnston told Charger Report.

"He text me a few days after that. I ended up getting on the phone a few days after that. I just chopped it up with him and congratulations on last season. I'm excited to do anything that we can as a team for him as a coach to help to continue his success at this level. We also had to talk about the Michigan last year, when we played him."

Johnston is referring to when his TCU Horned Frogs played the Michigan Wolverines in the 2022 Fiesta Bowl. TCU would come away with the big win, and we imagine Harbaugh knows the value he has with Johnston now on his team.

Johnston dove into many subjects with Charger Report including his new partnership, his rookie season, and his goal to become WR1 in 2024. The full interview can be seen below:
