The Las Vegas Raiders are 4-4 under Antonio Pierce, the interim head coach they hired when they fired Josh McDaniels, who was 3-5 when he was fired. Now, this offseason, the Raiders have some tough decisions to make. They need to find the right man for the job.

They have already gotten to wrong too many times before. Now, this one has to be perfect. We have seen the way Pierce has changed the culture, but the winning overall still isn't there.

However, what Pierce has done to get the players to play for him is special. One Raiders legend thinks that could very well be what gets Pierce the full-time job, and he gives his blessing.

"He knows what being a Raider looks like," Raider legend Charles Woodson recently said on XM Radio. "He knows you need to be tough in the trenches and tough on defense... He knows what it looks like. I get no more joy than after the game when he hits that Raiders chant because it's something I feel like I would do.

"Mark has decisions to make going forward. For Antonio... I don't think he could have done a better job than what he has done. Get the team to play for him, go on the road, and beat the Chiefs in the fashion that they did. I would give him my blessing. I would be very happy with Antonio being the guy going forward."

You want guys that some of your best players ever like and want leading their team. You want guys that remind them of the successful days when they played because, lord knows, it's been a while.

If Woodson, one of the greatest corners to ever play the game, thinks Pierce would be a great fit, then I think Mark Davis is likely listening.
