Raiders QB Derek Carr cracks 'Top 100 Players of 2022' list at No. 65

Derek Carr is entering his ninth year as quarterback for the Las Vegas Raiders. In 2021, the Pro Bowler posted a QBR of 52.4 alongside his 23 touchdowns, 68.4% completion rate, and career-high 4,804 yards passing.

Carr's numbers appear to have done himself a solid, as he cracked NFL.com's Top-100 list for the first time in three seasons at No. 65. Curated by writers and reporters across the league, the list acknowledges Carr's stellar play — a rare sight for Las Vegas' QB.

The former Fresno State Bulldog isn't looking to slow down either, considering his team just added All-Pro WR and college teammate Davante Adams to an already stacked offensive arsenal featuring rising WR star Hunter Renfrow and elite TE Darren Waller

Looking Ahead

Carr and the Raiders have high expectations for the 2022 NFL season. Following an endless rollercoaster of wins, losses, and organizational transitions, it seems Mark Davis' team has finally hit a period of stability.

Carr is officially on the better end of the spectrum. He's proven as the 65th best player in all of football. Now, his team has to back him with some playoff success.
