Raiders rookie WR Henry Ruggs ruled out for Week 3 vs. Patriots

The Las Vegas Raiders will travel to Gillette Stadium this weekend to take on somewhat of a new-look New England Patriots squad. While they currently boast a 2-0 record, the Raiders will be without their talented rookie wide receiver for Week 3, and that's not all.

According to independent NFL reporter Dov Kleiman, the Raiders have ruled Henry Ruggs out for Sunday's matchup. Tight end Darren Waller and running back Josh Jacobs both are questionable.

Ruggs was a limited participant in Thursday's practice due to knee and hamstring issues. He did not participate in Friday's practice.

The 21-year-old has four receptions for 59 yards this season along with two carries for 11 yards.

If Waller and Jacobs join Ruggs on the sidelines on Sunday, Las Vegas could be in trouble against a New England team that is blood-thirsty after a 35-30 loss to the Seattle Seahawks last week.

Waller has been nearly impossible to stop, reeling in 18 catches for 150 yards and one touchdown. Similarly, Jacobs has been just as effective, rushing for 181 yards and three touchdowns while adding 63 yards receiving.
