Rams' Matthew Stafford trolls Aaron Rodgers: 'I'll keep my toes to myself'

Earlier this month, Green Bay Packers quarterback and reigning NFL Most Valuable Player Aaron Rodgers was able to poke fun at himself during an edition of the ESPN2 "Monday Night Football" "ManningCast" over how he became an internet meme for showing reporters the fractured toe he suffered at some point during the first half of November while isolating away from his team after he tested positive for COVID-19:

Per Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk, Los Angeles Rams starting signal-caller Matthew Stafford endured a toe injury of his own in the Week 18 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Stafford had some fun at Rodgers' expense while discussing the setback Thursday ahead of the upcoming "Monday Night Football" wild-card home game versus the Arizona Cardinals:

Jokes aside, the good news for Rams fans is that Stafford was listed as a full participant for Thursday's practice session and, thus, should be good to go by Monday night. Perhaps he and Rodgers will be able to trade toe stories down the road and later in the postseason tournament.
