The Los Angeles Rams sorted out a new contract with quarterback Matthew Stafford on Saturday. According to a report, another star may not be far behind.

The Rams have made some progress on a new contract with defensive lineman Aaron Donald, and is the next focus for the team, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.

Donald still has three years left on his current deal, but the Rams may want to give him a raise and spread out the cap hit some. The team is trying to keep its core together, and Stafford’s new deal will help get the likes of Donald taken care of.

After winning the Super Bowl, Donald actually fueled rumors about his impending retirement. That clearly is not on the table anymore as he prepares to commit to the Rams once again.
