Rams Pro Bowl CB Jalen Ramsey won't hold out without extension

Three-time Pro Bowl and one-time All-Pro Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey feels that he knows his worth ahead of the last season of his current contract.

He also believes the Rams will match that valuation, which is why he won't hold out if he fails to receive an extension before the start of training camp.

"Yeah, for sure," Ramsey answered when asked if he'd attend Rams camp without first putting pen to paper on a new deal with the club while speaking with reporters on Tuesday.

"The Rams know where I stand. I think that's all that matters at the end of the day. So, it will get handled. They know where I stand. They've been in contact with my agent, you know, they're on the same page as my agent. They know what's up. I know what's up."I'm gonna let them handle that. I can't really worry about that. I control what I've got to worry about right now. But they knew, I feel like everybody knew what type of situation it was going to be once they traded for me, so I think it doesn't really need to be talked about that much. It'll get handled."

The Rams sent first-round draft selections for 2020 and 2021 and a 2021 fourth-round pick to the Jacksonville Jaguars for the 25-year-old seen by many as one of the league's top shutdown cornerbacks.

In nine appearances following that transaction, Ramsey tallied an interception, one forced fumble and four passes defended and made his third straight Pro Bowl.
