Sometimes ex-players come back to burn you and get the last laugh. That was the situation for the Cleveland Browns in Week 13.

After a 36-19 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, former Cleveland safety John Johnson III let everyone know how he felt following the win over his former squad.

The backstory here is that the Browns cut Johnson following last season as a cap casualty. Cleveland is still paying him over $8 million this season in dead money. Adding salt to the wound was Johnson picking off a pass from Joe Flacco that set up the sequence that put the game away.

"They just matched everybody up and I was in the pocket a long time and it ultimately was just a bad decision,” Flacco said on the throw after the game. “I was late throwing that pass."

After spending the last two seasons with the Browns, Johnson went back to Los Angeles where he’s played in 11 games with two starts. The interception against the Browns was the first of the season for Johnson.

Cleveland heads home after the two game trip west that leaves them at 7-5 on the season. Next up for the Browns is the Jacksonville Jaguars.
