While the Arizona Cardinals just placed two defensive starters on injured reserve, the Los Angeles Rams could see the return of two big offensive weapons ahead of their Week 12 battle.

While Rams coach Sean McVay confirmed running back Kyren Williams would return to the L.A. backfield, wide receiver Cooper Kupp could be available after spraining his ankle in the second quarter of Week 11.

Kupp has dealt with injury issues as of late - he landed on injured reserve with a high ankle sprain to end last season before missing the first four games of 2023 with a hamstring injury.

When asked about Kupp's injury, McVay offered the following:

“I think (playing on Sunday is) the goal. I know he’s going to do everything in his power. I think it’s definitely favorable where that’s a real possibility that he would be available. That’s not something where you’re saying he’s definitely gonna be out for this week. You want to see the functionality. I know that his mindset was encouraged based on how it felt today, based on some of the results of what the scans and different things like that showed, and then his willingness to attack this and put himself in a position to be available for the team.”

Kupp had his best performance of the season in L.A.'s Week 2 win over Arizona, where he tallied seven receptions for 148 yards and one touchdown in a 26-9 Rams victory at SoFi Stadium.

The Cardinals hope things will be different with Kyler Murray back in the saddle of Arizona's offense at State Farm Stadium.

We'll get our first injury report of the week later today, so we should gain a better idea of Kupp's progress moving forward.
