On Wednesday, the Chicago Bears hosted USC quarterback Caleb Williams for his first NFL top-30 visit. The 22-year-old visited Halas Hall for his first visit and some around the league wondered if it would be his only one. NFL Insider, Ian Rapoport, confirmed on Thursday that Williams only scheduled one top-30 visit.

Caleb Williams Is Only Meeting With The Bears

On Thursday, Ian Rapoport was on NFL Network talking about Caleb Williams. He confirmed that Williams was in Chicago on Tuesday night having dinner with the Bears' leaders: GM Ryan Poles and head coach Matt Eberflus.

Rapoport also stated that several Bears' players were in attendance and the evening wasn't an evaluation as much as getting to know each other.

Furthermore, Rapoport explains that as far as he knows, Caleb Williams isn't meeting with any other NFL teams for a top-30 visit and that both parties are excited to work together.

The NFL draft is three weeks away and the Chicago Bears are inching closer to their future franchise quarterback. Most of the speculation can be laid to rest as it's becoming clearer every day that Caleb Williams is coming to Chicago.
