Rapper Drake drops staggering amount of money on Super Bowl LVII bets

Drake is going all-out for his Super Bowl bets this year.

The rapper posted his seven high-stake wagers for the big game on Instagram. They total a whopping $965,000 and could pay out $3.57 million.

Oh, and Drake's all-in on the underdog Kansas City Chiefs.

The 36-year-old dropped $700,000 on a Chiefs victory, $50,000 on Kansas City winning both halves of the game and another $30,000 on the team leading all four quarters.

Drake put down $50,000 apiece on quarterback Patrick Mahomes and wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster being the Chiefs' first touchdown scorers of the game. Smith-Schuster has yet to record a touchdown this postseason and caught only three during the regular season — one of which was the first of the game.

"Say less," Smith-Schuster commented on Drake's post.

That's not it, though. The Toronto native is banking on tight end Travis Kelce to make history. Drake bet $25,000 on Kelce winning Super Bowl MVP and another $60,000 that the MVP would be a tight end — a feat never accomplished.

Drake captioned the post, "My psychotic bets for Sunday are in @stake ... [Please] do not analyze the logic behind these bets there is none."

This might be bad news for the Chiefs. The rapper's public support for teams and players usually doesn't end well and has notoriously become known as "The Drake Curse." Athletes across the globe have felt the wrath of this phenomenon, including Conor McGregor, Serena Williams, Lamar Jackson and Paul Pogba.

Drake just lost a million betting on Argentina to win the World Cup final during regulation time. Lionel Messi's squad was victorious but was forced to extra time after France's last-minute goal, thus nixing his payout.

But who knows, maybe the Chiefs are immune. The hip-hop superstar did just cash over $2 million betting on their AFC Championship Game win over the Cincinnati Bengals last week.
