The Buffalo Bills acquired Rasul Douglas in a deal with the Green Bay Packers ahead of Tuesday’s trade deadline, and in his introductory Bills press conference, Douglas made a pretty hilarious statement when asked what he knew about Buffalo.

“They’ve got crazy fans,” said Douglas, via Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team. “They throw snowballs at refs and players on the field.”

Of course, Bills fans are well known for being some of the most rowdy in the NFL and have earned the nickname “Bills Mafia” for their antics.

Now, they get to welcome Douglas into the fold.

Buffalo traded a third-round draft pick for the 29-year-old and also received a fifth-rounder from the Packers in return.

Douglas, who played his collegiate football at West Virginia, was originally selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

He spent the first three years of his career with the Eagles, helping lead the squad to its first ever Super Bowl title during his rookie campaign.

Douglas’ most productive season in Philadelphia came during his sophomore campaign, when he registered 58 tackles, three interceptions and four passes defended.

After his stint in Philly, Douglas joined the Carolina Panthers for one season before linking up with Green Bay in 2021.

Through seven games with the Packers this season, Rasul Douglas logged 32 tackles, an interception, a fumble recovery and six passes defended.

The East Orange, N.J. native will join a banged up Bills secondary that was certainly in need of some reinforcements.

Buffalo is 5-3 on the season and will take on the Cincinnati Bengals in a potential playoff preview this Sunday.
