One of the positions the Baltimore Ravens will be addressing this offseason is running back. With J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards expected to hit the open market, Charm City has been linked to some big name free agent replacements.

Derrick Henry, Josh Jacobs, Austin Eckeler and Saquon Barkley have all been linked to the Ravens at some point.

But those players - as effective as they could be - come at tremendous cost. The Ravens might need to shop for more of a bargain in their current salary cap situation. One possible answer could be Indianapolis Colts ball carrier Zack Moss.

The University of Utah product was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Moss has carried for 2,076 yards on 484 carries with 14 touchdowns over 53 games and 11 starts.

Last season, Moss registered career marks with 794 yards and five touchdowns over 14 games in eight starts, and caught 27 passes for 192 yards and two more touchdowns. He saw extra playing time due to injuries to Colts starter Jonathan Taylor.

The 27-year-old could head back to Indy and back up Taylor for another season, but he also might want a chance to start. And in Baltimore, he could be given that opportunity.

Moss is projected by Spotrac to sign for two years and $9.2 million. An absolute bargain price compared to Henry, who is expected to get more than double that for a one-year deal at $10.3 million, and Barkley, who Spotrac predicts will sign somewhere for three years and $29.9 million.

If the Ravens are looking to save some money at running back. Moss could be a good low-cost signing.
