Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers made his long-awaited return to practice on Tuesday.

The Ravens held practice indoors on Tuesday, and Flowers joined the rest of the team for its scheduled session on the day.

Flowers has been nursing a calf injury suffered during the Ravens’ road win over the San Francisco 49ers. The nagging ailment did not force him to miss Baltimore’s home matchup against the Miami Dolphins. He received the green light to play against Miami, and he went on to log three receptions for 106 receiving yards.

The Ravens played it safe with Flowers’ injury in the days leading up to their regular season finale against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The rookie wideout did not feature in any of Baltimore’s three practices ahead of the game, and he was ultimately ruled out from the divisional contest.

Flowers also did not take part in any of the Ravens’ practice sessions during their recent bye week.

All eyes now turn to whether Flowers will get the nod to practice on both Wednesday and Thursday.

Flowers was a standout performer in regular season play with the Ravens this year. He ended up leading all players on the team in multiple stats, including in receiving yards (858).
