Baltimore Ravens quarterback Josh Johnson gave it his all in a 26-20 loss on the road to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in what could be his last game in a Ravens uniform.

"Just grateful for where I came from," Johnson said. "I grew up in a situation to where I never thought this was a reality. Just always getting another opportunity, to me, was more valuable than anything else and I always saw it that way, even when you get cut."

Against Tampa Bay, he went 6-for-9 for 95 yards and a touchdown. He finished the preseason with 285 passing yards, three touchdowns and one interception with a 72.7 completion percentage.

Baltimore's star quarterback Lamar Jackson didn't play a single snap during the preseason, and his backup Tyler Huntley only played two drives during the first game against the Philadelphia Eagles. For the rest of the preseason, Johnson and second-year quarterback Anthony Brown had been competing to see who would stay on the roster after the final cutdown.

The 37-year old Johnson is the definition of a journeyman, having played for 17 different teams across four professional football leagues, and changing rosters 24 times since he was drafted by the Buccaneers in 2008. The 14 different NFL teams he has played for is currently the most in league history.

"Now I had the luxury that I've been so well-traveled, I feel like I bring a lot to an organization," Johnson said. "For me, it's just going out there daily and trying to show that the best way I can with the things I'm able to control."

The deadline for NFL teams to reduce their rosters from 90 players to 53 is on Aug. 29 at 4 p.m. ET.
