Ravens lineman has chance for rare accomplishment this week

The Baltimore Ravens are big favorites to beat the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, and if they do it will give offensive lineman Kevin Zeitler a very rare accomplishment.

With a win, it will mean that Zeitler has beaten all 32 teams in his NFL career.

That will make him just the 17th player — and only the third offensive lineman — since 1991 to accomplish that feat.

Zeitler has started 173 games in his NFL career as a member of the Ravens, Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals and New York Giants. During that career, he has been one of the top guards in the NFL.

Beating all 32 teams is obviously not an individual accomplishment for Zeitler since it takes a full team to win. But the fact so few players have actually been a part of something like that definitely makes it an interesting piece of trivia for him. It takes some luck and good timing, but it also takes an extremely long career to be able to play in the NFL long enough to accomplish that. For that, Zeitler does deserve a ton of credit.

The Ravens are 5-2 and in first place in the AFC North and are coming off a dominant win over the Detroit Lions this past Sunday. The Cardinals are 1-6 and one of the worst teams in the NFL this season. They play hard but lack the depth and talent to finish games.

Some of the other players to beat all 32 teams include Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Andrew Whitworth, Tony Gonzalez and Julius Peppers.
