The Baltimore Ravens have ruled Odafe Oweh as active for their Week 8 road matchup against the Arizona Cardinals, the team announced on Sunday.

Oweh appeared to have aggravated his nagging ankle injury this past week. He missed four games earlier in the season due to an ankle ailment suffered during Baltimore's road win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Oweh was limited in practice on Thursday, and he did not practice on Friday, which played into the team's call to list him as questionable against Arizona. This all came after he made his return to action in the Ravens’ home win over the Detroit Lions, where he logged 1.0 sacks and featured in 53 percent of snaps on defense.

There was initial optimism regarding Oweh's status against Arizona. Ravens head coach John Harbaugh made clear on Friday that the outside linebacker is "not going to be out for any period of time."

Now, Oweh is set to feature in his fourth game of the season.

The Ravens did include both Keaton Mitchell and Tylan Wallace on their inactive list for Week 8. Mitchell sustained a hamstring injury during the victory over Detroit. On the other hand, Wallace was activated from injured reserve on Saturday after being sidelined for four contests due to a hamstring ailment.

Baltimore is aiming to move to a 6-2 record this season.
