Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Nelson Agholor came quite close to receiving a notable bonus.

Agholor’s one-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens included multiple incentives. Among them, Agholor would receive $250,000 if he were to log at least 400 receiving yards this season. He would also haul in $500,000 if he were to reach the 40 receptions mark.

Agholor entered the Ravens’ home matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers in need of 10 receptions and 58 receiving yards to trigger a combined $750,000 incentive. With both Zay Flowers and Odell Beckham Jr. ruled out from the divisional contest, it seemed doable for the veteran wideout to record such stats in Week 18.

Agholor wound up tallying five receptions and 39 receiving yards against the Steelers, with all of his catches coming in the second half of the game. In the end, he came up five catches and a mere 19 receiving yards short of cashing in a combined $750,000 contract bonus.

Overall, Agholor recorded 35 receptions for 381 receiving yards and four receiving touchdowns in 17 regular season games played this year.
