Ravens QB Lamar Jackson 'sore' after TD flip, would 'probably do it again'

According to Jamison Hensley of ESPN, Jackson admitted Wednesday he's not quite physically at 100% after his flip and ahead of Sunday's matchup at the Detroit Lions. 

"I'm kind of sore," Jackson explained. "I didn't want to tell Coach [John Harbaugh] because Coach would probably [have] said something to me about flipping next time. I don't know; I'd probably do it again though." 

And what of Harbaugh? Per Hensley, the coach only learned about the flip that Jackson failed to safely land once his wife told him about the play after the fact. Harbaugh added he'll permit Jackson to keep that maneuver in his arsenal as long as the signal-caller doesn't fumble and puts six points on the scoreboard.

Jackson is already a one-time NFL Most Valuable Player who puts his body at risk each time he scrambles from the pocket and down the field, so the 24-year-old may want to avoid completing any and all flips without the aid of a cushioned landing pad moving forward.
