The Pittsburgh Steelers’ biggest rival, the Baltimore Ravens, are re-signing wide receiver Nelson Agholor to a one-year extension, the team announced on Sunday. Agholor returning at least fills out some questions about the Ravens wide receiver corps with Odell Beckham Jr. set to hit free agency. He will return with Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman as the projected top three as it stands now.

Playing in all 17 games, Agholor racked up 35 receptions for 381 yards and has stood out as a reliable target for Lamar Jackson. Agholor added four touchdowns to that mark, and for a fourth option for the Ravens in the wide receiver room, they got more than enough bang for their buck.

The Steelers nearly got burnt by Agholor in their Week 5 matchup at Acrisure Stadium, but Agholor dropped the pass. But he has got one up on them in the past, missing then-Steelers cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon while with the New England Patriots. Either way, Agholor has now earned himself a solid NFL career after a rocky start with the Philadelphia Eagles.

In his entire career, Agholor has now amassed over 4600 yards and 35 touchdowns across 135 career games. He is turning into a solid veteran wide receiver, and seems poised to add a dependable target for Jackson in Todd Monken’s offense.
