Ravens reportedly 'willing to get involved' in Julio Jones sweepstakes if 'price is right'

The Baltimore Ravens could reportedly be among teams interested in acquiring Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler said Saturday during an appearance on "SportsCenter" that the Ravens are "willing to get involved if the price is right," according to Bleacher Report.

Jones is up for trade as the Falcons look to clear cap space to sign their 2021 draft picks. The veteran wide receiver is set to earn $15.3 million this season, and Atlanta has just $588,018 in cap space

The Falcons reportedly have an offer of a first-round pick for Jones, according to ESPN's Dianna Russini, and a deal could happen as soon as next week.

Although Jones reportedly prefers a trade to the Titans or New England Patriots, Tennessee is considered a "long shot" to land him. The Patriots, on the other hand, have had "internal discussions" for the 32-year-old and have the cap space to make a deal work.

Jones recently told FS1's Shannon Sharpe during a phone call that he's not returning to Atlanta, saying, "I'm out of there."

The All-Pro receiver reportedly put in a trade request months ago and, according to The Athletic's Tori McElhaney and Jeff Schultz, the relationship between Jones and the Falcons has been deteriorating since contract talks in 2019.

Jones has played 10 seasons for the Falcons and is ready for a fresh start. Although it's unclear where he might end up right now, things could clear up post-June 1.
