The Baltimore Ravens are rolling right now, and linebacker Roquan Smith has already fired off a warning to the Cleveland Browns ahead of their Week 10 clash.

“Make no mistake about it, it’s our home. We have got to defend it by any means necessary,” Smith said, referring to the Ravens’ home matchup with the Browns next Sunday (via The Vault podcast). “We’ve got invaders coming to town, so what are you going to do? I’m going to definitely look myself in the mirror every day and I know what I’m going to do.”

This will mark the second time the Ravens and Browns will face on another this season. The first meeting came back on Oct. 1, when Baltimore hammered Cleveland by a score of 28-3 on the road. The Browns were without Deshaun Watson that afternoon, as Watson was dealing with a shoulder injury. Smith logged 10 tackles and a couple of interceptions during that game.

On the season overall, Smith has recorded 87 tackles, 1.5 sacks and five passes defended in nine games.

The 26-year-old is in his first full campaign with the Ravens after coming over in a midseason trade with the Chicago Bears last year. In nine contests with Baltimore in 2022, Smith registered 86 tackles, a couple of sacks and an interception. He amassed a grand total of 169 tackles, 4.5 sacks, three picks and six passes defended between the Bears and Ravens last season, earning himself a trip to the Pro Bowl as well as a First-Team All-Pro selection.

Oddly enough, Roquan Smith had never made a Pro Bowl appearance or notched First-Team All-Pro honors before last year in spite of putting up terrific numbers in each of his first four NFL seasons.

The University of Georgia product was originally selected by Chicago with the eighth overall pick of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Baltimore is 7-2 and has won four straight games.
