Ravens should steal Steelers' Kenny Pickett's favorite college target in 2023 NFL Draft

With signs pointing toward Lamar Jackson sticking around in Baltimore, the Ravens must continue to build around him this offseason. And there's a move they could make that would benefit themselves and hurt their division rival.

That is drafting USC WR Jordan Addison in the 2023 NFL Draft.

QB Kenny Pickett has already said that he "hopes" the Steelers draft Addison, his favorite target in college. The two connected 100 times for 1,593 yards and 17 touchdowns in 2021 as Pitt Panthers.

So, bringing the 21-year-old receiver to Baltimore could be the perfect move in the first round. The Ravens were third-worst in the NFL in receiving yards (3,202) and didn't even have a receiver eclipse 500 yards in 2022.

Addison, the 2021 Fred Biletnikoff Award winner, is currently ranked as the No. 23 overall prospect on Pro Football Focus's big board. And Baltimore holds the No. 22 pick in the first round.

The Steelers have other needs and will likely not go receiver in the first round. But if the Ravens are nervous Pittsburgh will select Addison at No. 17, they might consider leap frogging their AFC North rival.

Whatever it takes, acquiring Addison would be quite the move for Baltimore. And it would only build on what is already an historic rivalry.
