Ravens sign outside linebacker Justin Houston to one-year, $4 million deal
Outside linebacker Justin Houston and the Baltimore Ravens agreed to a one-year, $4 million deal on Saturday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Houston reportedly turned down more money from other teams to pursue a championship with the Ravens.
Baltimore's pass rush was one of its biggest concerns this offseason after the Ravens lost Matthew Judon and Yannick Ngakoue in free agency. Signing Houston, a four-time Pro Bowl defender who has recorded at least eight sacks in each of the past four seasons, addressed that need.
Last season with the Indianapolis Colts, Houston recorded eight sacks, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, 25 tackles, eight tackles for a loss and 12 quarterback hits.
Houston joins a Ravens outside linebacker group that includes Odafe Oweh, Tyus Bowser, Pernell McPhee, Jaylon Ferguson, Daelin Hayes, Chris Smith and Aaron Adeoye.
