Bengals quarterback Reid Sinnett is going to play in Saturday night's preseason finale in Washington.

Not only will it be his first in-game action for the Bengals, but it's his chance to show all 32 teams that he belongs in the NFL.

Sinnett has also played for the Eagles and Dolphins, but his career started with the Buccaneers after he signed with Tampa Bay as an undrafted free agent in 2020.

He spent the entire preseason, plus a few days during the regular season, on the roster/practice squad. That meant he was in the same quarterback room as Tom Brady.

"It was amazing," Sinnett told Dan Hoard on the Bengals Booth Podcast. "He's everything that everybody thinks he is. He's a fantastic person. He was really supportive of me in little moments. Gave me some confidence even though I wasn't getting a ton of reps. He was really valuable for my development. I was able ask him questions and we would sit and eat lunch together and I would sit and watch him watch tape ... I definitely learned a lot about being a professional from him."

Brady played in the NFL for 23 seasons, winning seven Super Bowls and is widely considered the greatest quarterback of all time. He's known for having a strict diet. Sinnett revealed that Brady didn't always eat avocado ice cream.

"It's funny, he was a big fan of the Sweet Baby Ray's Barbecue sauce," Sinnett said. "He was joking that the avocado ice cream and his diet stuff got blown out of proportion because he did love that Sweet Baby Ray's."

Brady played at a high level in the NFL until he was 45 years old. Maybe Sweet Baby Ray's was his secret weapon.
