The Bengals are hosting former Titans and Texans defensive tackle Teair Tart for a visit on Thursday according to Jordan Schultz.

Adding Tart would make sense, especially if they lose DJ Reader in free agency.

Tart has 79 career tackles and 2.5 sacks. He'd play nose tackle (Reader's role) alongside Sheldon Rankins and BJ Hill.

Tart, 27, is capable of taking on double teams, can produce as a pass rusher in the middle of the defense and would bolster the Bengals' run defense.
