CINCINNATI — The Bengals released cornerback Allan George on Tuesday as teams across the league trim down to their final rosters ahead of the 2023 season.

Adam Schefter reported the news as Cincinnati is likely keeping six cornerbacks: Chidobe Awuzie, Cam Taylor-Britt, Mike Hilton, DJ Turner, DJ Ivey, and Jalen Davis.

George is a strong candidate to land on the practice squad later this week after notching two tackles across four games in 2022.
