Report: Browns, OL Wyatt Teller reach agreement on four-year contract extension

For the first time in his four-year NFL career, Cleveland Browns offensive lineman Wyatt Teller has been on the field for 100% of his team's offensive snaps. According to reports early Tuesday morning, the Browns and the 26-year-old have now agreed on a four-year, $56.8 million contract extension that will keep Teller with the organization through at least the 2025 season.

Teller was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft, and after a rookie season that saw him play in eight games -- including seven starts -- Teller was traded to the Browns in a deal that included three future draft picks. Over the last three seasons, Teller's playing time with Cleveland has increased.

In 2019, the Virginia Tech product played in 15 games and earned nine starts, appearing on the field for 559 offensive snaps (58%) and 63 special teams snaps (16%). Last year, Teller started all 11 games that he played in, was on the field for 696 offensive snaps (92%) and 50 on special teams (17%), and was named second-team All-Pro by the Associated Press.

So far this season, Teller has started in all nine of Cleveland's games and has been out there for all 588 of the Brown's offensive snaps, plus 38 (17%) on special teams. Over his 43-game career, the Manassas, Va., native has been called for just 15 penalties.
