Like their counterparts with a ton of cash to spend, the Cleveland Browns have been very active in free agency. That has included bringing in Pro Bowl tight end Austin Hooper and All-Pro tackle Jack Conklin.

Cleveland is now focusing on the other side of the ball. According to ESPN’s Josina Anderson, the Browns have signed former Oakland Raiders first-round pick Karl Joseph.

The safety started 41 games in four seasons with the Raiders after they made him the 14th overall selection back in 2016. He did not pan out. Now in Vegas, the Raiders decided it was time for the two to part ways.

As for the Browns, they were seemingly interested in trading for franchise tagged Minnesota Vikings star safety Anthony Harris. That no longer seems to be a possibility.
