Report: Colts still talking with veteran LB Justin Houston

The Indianapolis Colts re-signed T.Y. Hilton earlier this week. Now their focus is on retaining another one of their veteran players.

According to The Athletic's Stephen Holder, the Colts are still talking to linebacker Justin Houston about remaining in Indianapolis. He spent the last two seasons in Indy after beginning his career with the Kansas City Chiefs.

In 32 games with the Colts, the 32-year-old has posted 69 tackles, 19 sacks, 30 quarterback hits, three forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries.

Although the Colts are interested in retaining Houston, Holder adds that the team is also talking to several other free-agent edge-rushers, so they could opt to go in another direction.

Houston's last deal was worth $24 million. It's unclear what kind of contract he's looking for this time around.
