Report: Eagles felt Carson Wentz couldn't handle hard coaching

It appears Carson Wentz had difficulty with the Philadelphia Eagles coaching staff, and not just Doug Pederson.

According to Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer, the Eagles felt that Wentz couldn't handle hard coaching. It became more apparent when the quarterback began to clash with Mike Groh, who was promoted to offensive coordinator when Frank Reich left to become head coach of the Indianapolis Colts.

Groh is now wide receivers coach in Indianapolis, so Wentz will have to get used to working with him. Reich reportedly believes everyone will get along.

Wentz will be hoping to revive his career with the Colts after a disastrous 2020 campaign with the Eagles. If anyone can help him turn things around, it's Reich, who coached Wentz during some of his best seasons in Philadelphia.
