Report: Falcons tests cleared; game vs. Vikings still on track

The Atlanta Falcons shut down their practice facility on Thursday after a member of their personnel staff tested positive for the coronavirus. Luckily for the team, it appears no one else has tested positive for the virus.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Falcons tests have cleared and players and staff members are returning to the practice facility on Friday. Atlanta's matchup against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday still is on track to be played.

Atlanta certainly has struggled this season, so a week off due to the coronavirus probably wouldn't have been so bad. The team could've prepared virtually with interim head coach Raheem Morris, who likely will run things a little differently than Dan Quinn did.

Regardless, the Falcons will need to figure out a way to get back on track after starting the season 0-5. The New York Giants and Jets are the only two other teams in the NFL to begin 0-5.
