Report: James Conner underwent toe surgery after suffering off-field injury
James Conner reportedly underwent surgery after injuring his toe while riding a recreational vehicle this offseason, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
He is expected to make a full recovery by June.
The former Pittsburgh Steelers running back is a free agent and is reportedly visiting with the Arizona Cardinals on Monday.
Pittsburgh struggled to run the ball last season and Conner finished with 721 rushing yards and six touchdowns. His best season came in 2018 when he ran for 973 yards and 12 scores.
The 25-year-old was selected in the third round of the 2017 draft.
