Will Antonio Brown get another shot in the NFL? Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports

Report: Seahawks, Ravens considering signing Antonio Brown

Controversial wide receiver Antonio Brown may soon find his third NFL home in three years.

On Tuesday, NFL Network personalities Mike Garafolo and Michael Silver reported that either the Seattle Seahawks or Baltimore Ravens could take a flier on the 31-year-old four-time All-Pro.

Brown has worked out with Seahawks backup quarterback Geno Smith during the offseason.

Brown orchestrated a trade from the Pittsburgh Steelers to the Oakland Raiders in March 2019, but he fell out of favor and was released by the club before the start of the regular season.

The New England Patriots signed Brown in September but cut him after only one appearance, as ESPN's Mike Reiss noted, when disturbing text messages Brown sent to a woman who said he sexually assaulted her were made public.

ESPN's Cameron Wolfe and others reported Brown avoided jail time earlier this month by pleading no contest to multiple charges regarding a January incident.

Silver added in his report that the NFL may suspend Brown for up to half of the 2020 season if he signs with a club this summer.

Brown led the NFL in touchdown receptions (15) his final season with the Steelers in 2018.
