Report: Titans 'not shopping or taking calls' on one-time Pro Bowl WR A.J. Brown

One of the more electric young wide receivers in the NFL looks to be staying put in Nashville.

The Titans already released seven-time Pro Bowl wideout Julio Jones in March and replaced him with former Los Angeles Rams stud wide receiver Robert Woods. Jones had a largely unsuccessful, injury-riddled one season with Tennessee in 2021, while Woods — though he had 1,000-yard receiving campaigns with the Rams in 2018 and 2019 — suffered a torn ACL midway through last season.

Brown was selected by the Titans in second round of the 2019 NFL Draft and had a huge rookie season, posting 52 receptions for 1,051 yards and eight touchdowns on 84 targets, while adding three carries for 60 yards and one score on the ground as well. Brown finished third in the 2019 Offensive Rookie of the Year voting, only behind Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray and Raiders running back Josh Jacobs.

Despite missing two regular-season games in 2020, the former Ole Miss standout recorded career highs across the board in targets (106), receptions (70), receiving yards (1,075) and touchdowns (12) two seasons ago, while adding six catches for 83 yards and a score in the team's Wild Card Game loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

Brown missed four regular-season contests in 2021 with a chest injury, but still registered 63 catches for 869 yards and five touchdowns on 105 targets, while erupting for five receptions for 142 yards and one touchdown in Tennessee's Divisional Round loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
