According to a report by Tom Pelissero from the NFL Network, the Tennessee Titans have hired Colt Anderson to serve as their special teams coordinator. Anderson had been part of the Cincinnati Bengals staff, working alongside Brian Callahan since 2020 on Zac Taylor's staff.

Anderson was an assistant special teams coach during his tenure with the Bengals. With this appointment, the Titans filled their final remaining coordinator position. Dennard Wilson (defensive coordinator) and Nick Holz (offensive coordinator) held their introductory press conferences on Wednesday at the team facility.

Anderson was a safety primarily used in a rotational capacity, and he made his most significant impact on special teams. He played in the NFL for nine seasons, spending time with the Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis Colts, and Buffalo Bills. He appeared in 84 games throughout his career, starting seven of them. He recorded 109 tackles, one interception, and two forced fumbles on defense. He also contributed on special teams, making 58 tackles in that phase of the game.

Anderson is the first coach to join Callahan from the Bengals staff.
