Report: Tom Brady to earn $1 million in incentives if Buccaneers win Super Bowl

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers knew exactly what they were getting when they signed Tom Brady to a two-year, $50 million deal. Brady knew exactly what he was getting with the Buccaneers.

When the veteran quarterback signed his contract with the Buccaneers, he made sure there were several incentives in the deal. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Brady will earn $500,000 if the Buccaneers defeat the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday. If Tampa Bay wins the Super Bowl, he'll earn another $500,000.

Brady earned $500,000 for making it to the playoffs, $250,000 for the Bucs' wild-card win over Washington and $500,000 for last weekend's divisional-round win over the New Orleans Saints.

The 43-year-old had one of the best seasons of his career this year, completing 65.7% of his passes for 4,633 yards and 40 touchdowns against 12 interceptions. Brady hadn't thrown 40 or more touchdowns since 2007 when he threw 50.

He's now tasked with getting the Bucs back to the Super Bowl for the first time since 2002.
