Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce seems to be working on a new television show in Los Angeles. According to PEOPLE, Kelce is in L.A. to work on a reboot of Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? The show is reportedly called Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?, and production has begun.

The game show will air on Prime Video and will use celebrities in place of where the original series had children as contestants. Kelce will be the host of the show, and it comes a little over a year after he hosted Saturday Night Live.

“I’ve been fortunate to do a few things outside of the sports world that I’ve been enjoying doing, like getting on camera,” Kelce told reporters in January. “The SNL stuff kind of opened up a new happiness and maybe a new career path for me, but it’s funny for me to even say that at this point in my career because I think it’s so much further down the road than it is right now.”

The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Kelce signed with CAA for off-field representation in May last year. “When Travis joined the NFL as a rookie, it was clear to us that he had star potential both on and off the field. We have a shared vision of Travis not only as a transcendent athlete, but also as a media and entertainment powerhouse,” his managers Aaron and André Eanes said at the time. “We believe the talented CAA team will bring that vision to life and we’re excited to embark on this journey together.”

Movies roles are possible for Travis Kelce

Kelce is making a name for himself in the television world, and it looks like movies are next. The three-time Super Bowl champion and his brother, Jason Kelce, had Arnold Schwarzenegger on their New Heights podcast, and he beleives the Kelce brothers are in Los Angeles for movie roles.

“You know [Jason], this is maybe off the record but no one is going to blabber out there… he’s probably here doing some interviews for movie parts,” Schwarzenegger said. “A lot of times you guys do the show where you are in another place, and you are in another place, and it’s a split-screen thing which really works well… but now you’re together because you’re in Hollywood. I’m not stupid, there is a reason why those guys are out here together in Hollywood.”
